Volunteer Opportunities

The younger children at Holy Cross look up to our youth. To take advantage of that, several volunteer opportunities exist which pair the Youth Ministry with the Children's Ministry.

Sunday School

Our youth provide an extra set of hands in children's classrooms as needed, usually in the youngest classes.

Vacation Bible School

Depending on the age of the specific youth involved, our youth have provided everything from an extra set of hands to escorts within the building to assistant teachers.

Various Events of the Children's Ministry

• Game helpers at the All Saint's Fall Festival Costume Party
• Craft helpers at the Prepare Ye the Way of the Lord Advent workshop

Other

Our youth have also been active participants in worship by greeting, singing and reading the lessons. We strive to help the youth identify their ministry gifts and use them within the body of Holy Cross as well as outreach and mission projects.
