Fun fellowship is a trademark of Church of the Holy Cross, and the children are no exception. We enjoy several special programs throughout the year.

The children's choir performs seasonal anthems, offertories, and praise hymns throughout the year. All children aged 4 years through 5th grade are encouraged to participate. In our children's music ministry, children learn about worshiping God through music and about the Biblical truths in the lyrics they sing. Less emphasis is given to polished performances. One evening in October we wear our “friendly” costumes and enjoy games, crafts, treats, pizza, and fun!

Before Advent begins, we celebrate the coming of the Lord by creating cards and gifts for our church's missionaries, making ornaments for our church Christmas tree, and enjoying a meal as a church family.

The children perform an informal rendition of the Christmas story on Christmas Eve. We sing traditional Christmas hymns, and the children dress as the Christmas story characters of their choosing.

The Children's Ministry Team meets monthly to plan all the children's programs, advise the Director of Children's Ministry, and pray for the ministry to be effectual in the lives of the church's children.
